"me" time

...so nobody is in the house. Fuzzy isn't coming home until later on tonight. So I decided to pass the time by getting into some "me" time (if you know what I mean). So I go online to find something, and I came across this really hot one. Something thugged out and street.

So at first I didn't see any faces, just the act of it. So they getting it in, real slow. He's taken it, and I'm feeling it, and they start to pan the camera out. So the the guy that is taken it, is really cute! So while I'm holding on, enjoying my "me" time, I look.

I look again.

I look closer... isn't that? NO!?

The guy... is actually one of my friends!

My mouth dropped!

Now Question? What would you do?

This song is orginally sung by Kelly Clarkson. The concept of the song is about having a strong connection to someone who is so amazing, so incredible, so beautiful... yet they allow themselves to become caught up in negativity, hurt & pain, leading to a disaster. So the singer questions if they should save them or take on the risk of falling with them?

Omar has felt this way about one of his friends, and we both are praying for him.

Earlier today we were having a conversation about our friendship. It amazes me how maintaining friendships takes just as much energy as a romantic relationship. Yet a true friendship just come natural. I met Omar at another friends house. It was a sleepover. He was laying on the bed, with his legs up against the wall. Great way to meet somebody, legs up, lol. At the end of the night, we wasn't allowed to sleep in my friends bed, because he's an azz, so me and Omar had to sleep on the cold azz floor. So we snuggled to keep each other warm, lol. Then started our friendship! He's My Omar! I'm honored to be his bestfriend. He understands me. He is silly with me. He is intelligent with me. He is like family, and I love him. I always want the best for him, and will always be there to make sure that others see him as the gift he is. His singing always is amazing, and he is so creative. What else can you ask for in a friend!

I had to write something meaningful because he is going to kill me when he sees this video up, lol.

Will Bible Action Figures Sell at Walmart?

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) said Tuesday it will test sales in some stores of biblical action figures whose makers say they are aimed at Christian parents who prefer their children play with Samson, David or Noah rather than with a comic book character or Bratz doll.

Wal-Mart spokeswoman Melissa O'Brien said the toys made by One2believe, a Valencia, Calif., company, will be offered in 425 of Wal-Mart's 3,376 discount stores and Supercenters. One2believe Chief Executive David Socha said his products were part of a " battle for the toy box" with dolls and figures that he said carry negative messages. "If you're very religious, it's a battle for your children's minds and what they're playing with and pretending. There are remakes out there of Satan and evil things," Socha said.

As a dedicated Action-Figure Collector, and lover of toys as a child, I had to weigh in my opinon on this situation. Now, I am far from a traditional Christian, but I don't have a problem with biblical action-figures for kids. What I do have a problem with is stating that all other action-figures have "negative messages."

Let's take the two toy-lines that I collect for example:

Masters of the Universe: A prince, who becomes a man by speaking a positive affirmation, "I have the Power!" He uses his power to save his family, his people, and the entire universe from evil. Even though he has a huge sword and has super strength, he rarely uses it for violence, and strongly suggests to use your brain and wit to defeat any obstacle. He promotes friendship, staying in school, and listening to your parents. Is this not the christian way?

X-Men: A group of mutants, who are born different strive to protect those that fear and hate them. The are all taught within a school to use there powers not just for violence, but to learn self-control, self defense, and to find way to best enhance humanity. They stand for equality, family, and peace within all the races. Is that not what GOD would want?

Ok, I can understand the arguement of some action-figures having some negative messages. Sure Skeletor's face is banned in many countries, and Magneto lends much to genocide but stories about the Devil & Demented Pharoahs sure isn't a positive message in itself! Where do you think these archtypes of the characters came from? The point is, the hero is suppose to be the one to overcome evil... yet Samson Action Figure sure isn't convincing me!



Take a look at Samson, the Spirit Warior description:

He was used by God to destroy his enemies and do some other pretty amazing things! (Destroying sure is Amazing!) He caught over three hundred foxes by himself... (Poor Defenseless Foxes!) He killed a lion with his bare-hands... (Beyonce can't even wear fur for fashoin, and he kills them with his hands?) He killed 30 men in one night without any weapons... (30 MEN!) and he even used the jawbone of a donkey to single-handedly defeat one thousand men! (You Murderer!)

So this is the Action-Figure that is suppose to save the toy-aisles and children's minds from evil... PLEASE! I don't know Walmart, do you really want this toy to be your savior?

not my day...

Ok so I was suppose to put the photos up last night, but I got sooooo buzy! I had to drive Fuzzy to get his car fixed, then we went out to eat at the buffet, went to TWO Home Depots to get the material to fix the floors. Then I got the wrong flooring, so now I have to go on a wild goose chase to find one that matches. I had a freelance design project that needed to be done by the end of the night, and all my friends were arguing over a fight that happened on Saturday, which lead to Fuzzy being depressed all night. So I was on the phone for an hour trying to get everythign straight. I didn't get any sleep, and my sister "pee"ed on herself, which made her miss the bus, so I had to take her to school! Then I get to work, only for a photoshoot to go really crazy because one guy wasn't there... I tell you! I have spent way to much money this week! Thank goodness that I have some coming in. I will try and put the pictures up tonight, but I doubt that will even happen either!

on my mind

I lied to save my job today, and I hopefully my boss doesn't find out... even though I didn't even do anything wrong. Why does reconstructing my new floor have to be a Hazard Zone? I don't want Cancer. Why does scandelous photos of me and Fuzz in a Jacuzzi turn me on? Why am I such a freak? Am I wrong for wanting to spend my extra money on a PS3 when I haven't even put any work in my car? Why does everyone think I was singing to my sidekick, I was being deep and meaningful dammit!
