urban gothic

meet two amazing people that I am
proud to know on so many levels!

Isaam Houston & Larry Lyons!

I was blown away these photographs when I saw them,
and I need you to be as well.

Make sure you check out Larry Lyons blog at larrylyons2.blogspot.com
as he continues with...

PASSIONS: a monthly pot-luck dinner/presentation series & gathering that allows his close-knit network of of artists, activists, scholars, dreamers, theologians and other assorted thinkers to share their work in a supportive setting.

&

Rashawn Brazell Memorial Fund:  Which aims to establish a sustainable tribute to Rashawn that promotes critical thought about the impact of violence and intolerance, particularly upon queer communities of African descent. Through this endeavor, they seek to empower future generations of activists and scholars by providing financial support and mentoring opportunities.

Outside of me and Larry's honored relationship,
I have always been proud of his artistic endeavours.

Isaam Houston will be presenting  his new Arts Exhibit called "Eyes Wide Shut" a collection of paintings inspired by his cousins death. 7 pieces, each representing the 7 stages of Grief.  As well as Abstract interpretations of his Favorite album covers.
