The Blogger Code

It's funny how we bloggers have this secret code that we don't really talk about but we all know is there. Like for one... If your dating someone, you never give out there real name, you always make something up. You can talk about your job and what you do, but don't give out the actual company name. People can google it. Don't put photos of people without there permission. It's proper manners to at least comment on people's blogs that comments on yours. If one of your friends is a blogger, don't tell the world there juicy gossip until they reveal it themselves. Embarrassing photos of friends is well embarrassing, but so much fun to do! You really shouldn't date a blogger, after ya break up, you may end up as a "post." Two bloggers shouldn't date, but an occasion, can hookup or flirt... just keep it a secret for as long as you can. If your a reader and attracted to a blogger, you hit them up telling them how much you love there blog, that's great, but... let them tell YOU about themselves, even if you have read that post already! Bloggers get creeped up when you know so much about them, even thought they wrote it! Talking about sex is ALWAYS welcome, but naked pictures seems like they need to stay on adam4adam. Even though blogging isn't a college essay, its proper manners to proofread and spellcheck! Vague post that are really out there, are just weird. Make a point! Don't make a blog post really long, no one is going to read it. Make sure your blog can be viewed on a phone, cause I mean, its great for the train ride home! Don't have music playing as soon as your blog opens! You have to blog at least once a week. I know you have a life, but we still want to read about yours!  Bloggers will talk about you behind your back to other bloggers, so just keep that in mind. Oh and all bloggers know each other outside of blogging, so be careful what you tell people, the land is small indeed! You can't really lie about what your doing or who you with, cause eventually its going to come out in a blog post somewhere. Do you really need three blogs, is there a way to combine them together? Bloggers appreciate silent readers, and also despise them... Leave a comment! We hate anonymous comments talking bullshit. Just stop! Yes, random silly post are just as good as well thought out post. Always remember that this is my blog and I can say what the hell I want, Im not a journalist! I think that's it...

Don't ever just end a post without some type ending or thought provoking question to the audience... IS THERE ANYTHING I'M MISSING IN THE BLOGGER CODE? :)

Okay Shawn, you just shut it down!!!

"The Blogger Code" could have also easily been titled "The Things We Think But Do Not Say."

Adding to the list, I think that we all secretly know that our "sex-talk" posts are going to garner the most comments and feedback with full on details, but our thought provoking posts that ask about dreams and real hope for the future will only generate one or two REAL deep responses.

Excellent post!!! hahaha

You said comment so here it is...

Don't be changing your blog name every other week.

Give people full nicknames cuz trying to follow why D and C went to the party with Z and Q then C met P who got ended up fighting D and punching S in the face can get confusing or hard to follow.

Why comment just to say you didn't have time to read the post? Just come back and say something when you have the time! LOL

And I must correct you, pictures of naked men, esp. men who are nice to look at should be shared with the world, not just certain sites dag on it! LOL!
