IT WAS ALL A DREAM!

If you didn't know how important I felt about DREAMS, then this is a testimony of it now. When you want something so bad, it can happen. THOUGHTS and WORDS are powerful! Dr. King put something out into the universe, and this is the result of it. Our world has now CHANGED into something new, something much closer to the world we need to live in. I have never been so proud to be a black man in my life then to see Obama become President of the United States of America.

But this is so much more then him. He is now the ICON of what we as a people have been trying to uphold for centuries. CHANGE. HOPE. BELIEF. FREEDOM. These are the things that will carry us into this new world, and OBAMA has now been put as a SYMBOL of that. ART has always been a way that we record and communicate the THOUGHTS WE BELIEVE IN, and I just wanted to honor that by showcasing some of the artwork that we have created for our new President!

WHICH ONES ARE YOUR FAVORITE?
WHAT DO THESE MEAN TO YOU
AS THEY REPRESENT OUR NEW PRESIDENT?

I am a Obama supporter..
Im all about the change..
and the belief that he will bring great things to this country.

I cried watching him become President last night.. I rejoiced in watching history take place.
I was thrilled at knowing my children get to hopefully live in a world that will be more beneficial & prosperious....

My ancestors owned slaves...Not something Im proud of.. but, it's a part of history.. Im White.. in love with a black man... but it's not about race... it's about the MAN... what he stands for..who he is... his commitments, what's important... Who he is..
Whether that be our new President..
or whom we choose...

I wish we all could truly believe the words..
" We are all created equal"

Maybe.. just maybe.. some day it will come to pass!

"Obama's election as president is a beautiful testament to the American collective consciousness that is flowering, This more loving consciousness will be necessary to protect us from some of our hurtful human choices and tendencies. We will need it to create balance with the constantly emerging advances in technology so, going forward, we can use these advances in a positive way to lift up Mother Earth and all her inhabitants." - Russell Simmons

I'm feeling the effects! Its not often we actually get to SEE a historic event.

I mean, THIS moment is going to be in History textbooks one day, and we can say to the Youngin's "Yeah, I was there..."

OMG!!!
