So I have been stumping my brain as to why the hell my digital camera will not charge these new batteries! After months of research, trying this and that, I realized that the door to the batteries is cracked! Seems that the company knows of the design flaw and they still won't fix it with any warranty unless you pretty much pay for a new camera! Ugghh!
I need a GOOD CAMERA. Every Graphic Designer and aspiring Youtuber should!
Requirements:
- 7 Megapixel and 3x Optical Zoom or Higher
- Color LCD, a view finder is optional
- Video Capabilities 640x480 or Higher (Good sound playback on the camera)
- Rechargeable Battery (Possible Lithium-ion) with Charger & AC Adapter Included
- Different Options for Flashes
- Ability to use a SD Memory Card
- Light Weight (Fit in Pocket)
- No More then 200 Bucks!
If any of you guys have one that I can look at, own one that you would recommend, then shout me a Holla! Thanks!
Oh yeah, you guys like my dreads? LOL

Try the Nikon S210. It's one of the Coolpix cameras that Ashton Kutcher is pushing on TV. It's less than $180 and covers all the points you wanted. Here's a link. I have the s550 for about $40 more, but there is really not much difference between the two and I'm satisfied with it for quick and easy shots.
wow thanks for the quick response! Looking at it now...
hunny you know we don't like those dreds lmao! and i'm still high off of those questions you asked fuzzy... simple
Pudding....where did u get those dreds from, and did you keep the receipt...with abundant luv!!
JB
...by the way, that was just a joke. Thanks! lol

You know...I needs me a good camera too. I have an upcoming project and my current camera won't do the job. You remember it - it took like 17 seconds to snap the photo.
canon powershot a590 IS
brand new release
was $152 on newegg.com
8 megapixel, optical viewfinder (good for bright sunlight) plus LCD, optical image stabilization.. first time in a mid range camera for canon... SD memory card... runs on 2 AA batteries produces maybe 150 pics!!!
its a "prosumer" camera.. you can set everything manually if u like..
(i have the a650 IS.. love it !)
I have a Canon Powershot and I love it but mine is an SD version. Sounds like you have some sound choices. Also check out the websites for Best Buy and Circuit City. Don't forget Memorial Day is coming and they usually have great sales at major stores so I would wait for the big discounts.
The dreds are......ooh is that a TLC concert poster? LOL!!
Ummmm - Darius I will be emailing you in a few lol
Shawn yeah dude the Dreds are a No-GO lol
Yeah I'd go for the Powershot aswell. Its a good camera. I know alot of people who ahve them. Get the camera Ty has. It took great pics when we were in baltimore.
I have the Casio Exilim Card EX-S770... best camera I've ever had. :)
I am going to be getting one very soon Shawn. You know my camera has to be one of the best for me to have it! I like nice things HEY!!! LOL
I recomment the Cannon, Sony and Fuji brands. I had a Kodak and would get another, but not before think about getting one of those brands. There is one that starts with a N, maybe nikko? idk look into it! DO NOT AND i REPEAT DON'T GET SAMSUNG! LOL
I have the Canon Powershot. It's cool. Then again, I rarely even pull it out of the drawer.
Take those dreads off right now. And look at that old ass poster. I was 10 during that tour. LOL.
Thanks to everybody that gave me suggestions!
The Ironic part is, my digital camera works now, so I don't need to buy a new one! LOL
I did do some research and will share my results:
I came up with 4 choices.
1) Casio EXILIM 8.1MP (780SR) Digital Camera
2) Sony Cyber-shot 7.2MP (DSC-120) Digital Camera
3) Nikon Coolpix 8.0MP (S210)Digital Camera
4) Olympus 8.0MP (FE-340) Digital Camera
All of them were between $180 to $200 and can be found at Bestbuy or there online website.
The Olympus seems to be the best one, but the Sony looks cooler, lol. I do plan to upgrade when need be.
Thanks again!
You've seen mine, right? It has pics and video and has been pretty clear. Most people like it. I have a Sony Cybershot 7.2 MP. It was under $200 when I got it. I believe it was $149.
