I always find myself at work, falling into a daze. I look over to my ipod touch to see that another beautiful song from Jill Scott is playing on Pandora Radio. She always reminds me how Beautifully Human he really is.

He wows me. He is attentive. He compliments me. He caters to me. He understands me. He makes me laugh. He makes me responsible. I can go on and on...

The 22nd marked a significant amount of months since we met. It is also the same day that Heroes Season Three premiered. Since then, I got him hooked by watching all the episodes from Season 1 and 2 on DVD. It was like our own little "thing." He is now a bigger fan then I am!

Before him, I almost lost my sense of knowing who people are. I had on these "Church Stained Glasses" and when they were shattered, seeing them for who they are can be heart breaking. Even still. It takes a great deal of trust in GOD not to allow the past experiences of others take control of you. I am bigger then that. I am bigger then other people's issues and lack of consideration towards my heart. I once felt damaged...

But he made First-Aid Kit handy. I didn't allow him to put the band-aid on me. He was just there to kiss it when I put it on my heart. He was there when I took it off, as I allowed it to heal. We took turns rubbing cocoa butter on the scar. He was there. Yes, even superman needs a Hero.

Everyone always asked us, when are you guys going to make it official?

I wanted to take my time. Making sure I wasn't rushing into anything that was important to me! When he gave me that ring on Christmas, it was the first time I told him, "I Love You." Little do you guys know, the ring didn't fit! LOL. We had to send it back to the company. He was determined to get me another one. It was such an amazement to me, that on the 22nd, as we dined in New York City, I found a Golden Box with a Bow on it next to my water. Could it really be? Another ring, just for me! Only this time, it wasn't just "To Happiness" it was a "To Commitment"... when ever I was ready.

Wow was I ready? Could I let love in again?

He wows me. He is attentive. He compliments me. He caters to me. He understands me. He makes me laugh. He makes me responsible. So why not? He smiled at me, we kissed, and we made each other happy, on the 22nd, the day our love was built, we continue the love we have showed each other since we met.

This is our foundation.

The Blogger Code

It's funny how we bloggers have this secret code that we don't really talk about but we all know is there. Like for one... If your dating someone, you never give out there real name, you always make something up. You can talk about your job and what you do, but don't give out the actual company name. People can google it. Don't put photos of people without there permission. It's proper manners to at least comment on people's blogs that comments on yours. If one of your friends is a blogger, don't tell the world there juicy gossip until they reveal it themselves. Embarrassing photos of friends is well embarrassing, but so much fun to do! You really shouldn't date a blogger, after ya break up, you may end up as a "post." Two bloggers shouldn't date, but an occasion, can hookup or flirt... just keep it a secret for as long as you can. If your a reader and attracted to a blogger, you hit them up telling them how much you love there blog, that's great, but... let them tell YOU about themselves, even if you have read that post already! Bloggers get creeped up when you know so much about them, even thought they wrote it! Talking about sex is ALWAYS welcome, but naked pictures seems like they need to stay on adam4adam. Even though blogging isn't a college essay, its proper manners to proofread and spellcheck! Vague post that are really out there, are just weird. Make a point! Don't make a blog post really long, no one is going to read it. Make sure your blog can be viewed on a phone, cause I mean, its great for the train ride home! Don't have music playing as soon as your blog opens! You have to blog at least once a week. I know you have a life, but we still want to read about yours!  Bloggers will talk about you behind your back to other bloggers, so just keep that in mind. Oh and all bloggers know each other outside of blogging, so be careful what you tell people, the land is small indeed! You can't really lie about what your doing or who you with, cause eventually its going to come out in a blog post somewhere. Do you really need three blogs, is there a way to combine them together? Bloggers appreciate silent readers, and also despise them... Leave a comment! We hate anonymous comments talking bullshit. Just stop! Yes, random silly post are just as good as well thought out post. Always remember that this is my blog and I can say what the hell I want, Im not a journalist! I think that's it...

Don't ever just end a post without some type ending or thought provoking question to the audience... IS THERE ANYTHING I'M MISSING IN THE BLOGGER CODE? :)

Skeletor is Here!

Well for the past couple of years I have been a dedicated toy collector of two cartoon universes of my childhood! One of them is X-men, and my first love is He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. When I was younger, I used to play with these toys and imagine myself on Eternia protecting Castle Grayskull and putting my sword up to the air! Now a days, pay bills and putting food on the table has been taken up most of my time.

Yet as a collector of this universe, I can sometimes go back to that good feeling of my childhood, and everything just seems OK. So today I got a new figure from the Masters of the Universe Classics line, which are much more similar to the old figures of the 80's yet fully detailed and articulation. Every time a figure comes in, I get excited! So I took some photos of the experience while I was at work...

Which action figures did you play with as a kid?

My sentiments exactly Beyonce...

Inauguration Day! An American Dream

Ok its like 12:40pm, and I'm still watching the Inauguration on " LIVE with FACEBOOK" and just witnessed history here at work, wow what an amazing feeling! Every time he talks I become more proud to be a black man, an American, and a man in the legacy of GOD.

With me going through such a hard financial time, I am reminded to stay firm in my faith that things will get better, and that opportunities will still be open to me, if I choose to stay strong, and swift in achieving my dreams.  I thank all my friends, family, bloggers and readers alike for allowing me to share my story... as apart of this AMERICAN DREAM

Obama, I tip my fitted to you!

So my original IPOD Video is dying. Sucks because the warranty was over like 9 months ago, and now it wants to start acting up. The Battery is shot, there is some pixal problems on the screen, and compared to all the new ipods out, its quite outdated!

So over the weekend, I was able to do some design work for a friend of mine, that came out really hot by the way! So my cousin came over because he wanted me to charge his ipod on my computer. He has gave me his girlfriends ipod touch to charge as well. As soon as I saw it, I fell in love with it! I wanted it! It was like so ME! Ya know I love high tech futuristic stuff!

So I decided to take the money from the design job and get me an ipod touch! I mean I need a new one anyway!  Most of my friends know, I'm not a bigger spender, but when I want something, I WANT IT! Same with my PS3, my SIDEKICK, and now my IPOD TOUCH!

So the next day, as I was leaving the house, I was like, let me just go to radio shack and pick me up one real quick. They come in three models 8gb, 16gb, and 32gb. I refuse to pay for an ipod that is the same price for a PS3, and I already have 8gb of music as is, so I wanted the 16gb. So I get there, and ALL SOLD OUT OF THAT MODEL! What! OK fine, I looked around a couple of other stores, and nothing, they are all sold out. I get to the Mall, ALL SOLD OUT! Since when did this thing get THAT popular???

So I'm on the phone with Fuzzy, who is usually the guy that knows about my obsession of shiny techie things, and will always help me to get one. He called around a couple of places, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, they all were sold out! I was determined to get it! So I decided to just go to New York and just go to the mecca of everything ipod, the APPLE STORE NYC!

See Video:

Is this not like the most magical place on earth?

The store is located in a hidden space below the crystal chamber... and there you will find loads of people looking at all kinda of ipods, iPhone, mac laptops and desktops! It is such a beauty. I went up to an employee and asked them did they have the 16gb ipod touch...

"Certainly sir, just get in line, they have them behind counters, just pick one up and your ready to go."

That's it? That is all I have to do?  After 16 stores, 16 degree weather, and 16 miles of walking later, I finally had my 16 gb!  Woohoo!

So I get home and just amazed at so many things this bad boy can do! I always wanted an IPhone, but can't handle typing on the thing... besides I love my Sidekick! Yet the Internet, the ability to watch YouTube, get directions and play games is awesome! It picks up on my wifi instantly, and I can even use it to as a remote control to my music on my computer, which will be great for parties!

I even organized my entire Music Library so that I can get the full effect of my ipod. Right now I'm just looking up different songs to add on here. I have PLENTY of R&B so looking for something unique and different now.

I want to give you guys a list of 20 of my MUST HAVE, BEST OF ALL TIME songs that I have on my ipod now. There are more, but this is a great start!

Higher, Higher, Lift Him Up!

...sorry I just got some money in that I was expecting, so had to praise him for a second! Amen! LOL

Going Back 2 The Gym!

Ok its a new year, a new outlook, and everyone is trying to start there resolutions right! Well as it comes, I'm getting back into that gym. Not because of a "silly resolutions" but because I needed a small break. Working out in the winter, is new for me, and the cold weather tends to keep me unfocused. Not to mention having a new mate is another distraction, lol. But since I made "Having a Banging Body" a Dream of mine, I have to continue to stick to it! I have only been gone for a month or so, and I haven't gained any significant weight. But I don't feel on and popping like before, so this spring, I WILL BE READY!

So as I get ready for tomorrow, I was online looking for motivation. Going to Nubian 101 and seeing sexy bodies do help, but working out is more then just "looking good" this is also very spiritual for me. So what better way to gain motivation is to add blessing and sin together as one!

This is an article from that I'm sure you guys will enjoy!

"Being Gay Is a Gift From God"

Oprah Winfrey and Rev. Ed Bacon of All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California caused quite a stir last week during Oprah's Living Your Best Life Week: Spirituality 101 episode where the good Rev. Bacon made a statement that was heard all around the world, "Being Gay is A Gift from God". Watch the clip...

This idea that homosexuality is a "blessing" of "gift" is not new to me. I have already come to terms with my sexuality and spirituality since I was 22. I have written poems about, talked about it to my friends, and written about in my various blogs, here, here and HERE! It does amaze me still, how "out of tune" people really are about who they are and who they want to be.

As always there is going to be some backlash from this, but what do you guys think?

Can't Sleep...

So its 4am in the morning, Im laying in the bed, a man snuggled up under me, and Im tipsy and can't fall asleep cause my mind is going 95 in a 60 Mile zone!

I usually will just talk to somebody, but yeah, he is knocked out and sick, and all my friends are mostly likely sleep as well.

What is a man to do when he has stuff on his mind? Blog on his sidekick of course! So what is troubling me this morning? I don't know how to put this?

Well I was at this party right? It was the most ghetto party I have ever been to in my life. We went up the hall, and this guy was trying to calm down his friend from fighting. We get up stairs to like 50 and some odd black gay men, women, inbetween, thugs & straights all drinking and smoking all through the sticky floor apartment!

Im not a smoker, so that was just a no go for me, and the vibe was just not right for me, especially since we just came from a really nice birthday party at a nice house a couple of hours ago.

Im here with my guy, holding hands against the wall, and this queeny guy comes up to him and ask MY dude if he will go in the room with him! WHAT! Is he serious??? He then tells the guy (which he knows but not personally, just seen him around) that I was with him, the guy shakes me hand and says that we look cute together... great, right after u want my man, whatever!

I have never had to deal with this before, so this is all new to me. What's bad on my part, was I was a little mad at my dude because the other guy was disrespectful. I know that's not fair, but Iike I said, the vibe of that party just wasn't right for me.

I know that in life, ur man is going to get hit on, either if ya are together or apart, and its something u just have to deal with, but how? Is this an insecurity on my part? He goes above and beyond letting me know that I AM THE ONE FOR HIM, and gives me reassurance, but my mind sometimes does what it wants to think, outside of what's logical!

I never ever been a jealous person, and don't want to start. Is there a solution to this? How do u guys deal with this on both ends?

Spidey Meets President-Elect Barack Obama

To celebrate the upcoming inauguration of Barack Obama, Marvel is proud to present an all-new story teaming up one of the world’s most recognizable political figures with the world’s greatest super-hero as President-Elect Obama joins Spider-Man in Spidey Meets the President!

This all new story written by Zeb Wells and art by Todd Nauck and Frank D’Armata takes place in Washington, D.C. on Inauguration Day and finds one of Spider-Man’s oldest foes attempting to thwart the swearing in ceremony of the 44th President of the United States. The story will be featured as a bonus story in Marvel Comic’s Amazing Spider-Man #583, available in comic book shops nation-wide on January 14th, 2009. A special variant cover by artist Phil Jimenez featuring the President-Elect and Spider-Man will be available for this issue.

“When we heard that President-Elect Obama is a collector of Spider-Man comics, we knew that these two historic figures had to meet in our comics’ Marvel Universe,” says Marvel’s Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada. “Historic moments such as this one can be reflected in our comics because the Marvel Universe is set in the real world. A Spider-Man fan moving into the Oval Office is an event that must be commemorated in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man.”

For fans of Spider-Man and those wanting to own a part of this historic moment in American history, visit your local comic book retailer on January 14, 2009 to purchase the issue. To find a comic book retailer near you, visit or call 888-COMICBOOK.

Today is a Good Day!

Ok so GOD is GOOD! I got some money in that I was expecting, and I am on my way "out the hole" Praise Praise Praise! I have learned some much through this struggle. Patience & Faith. The Spirit of Giving. GOD will always provide. Use God's Angels. Smile while you stand in the rain, and troubles will never last always. So today is a happy happy day for ShawnQt! Now why I feel up to posting baby pictures, I have no clue! LOL.

My mom gave me a printer/scanner, so been using it to scan some artwork and some old photos of me and my friends from high school. So as I was going through the pics, I found some pics of me as a baby baby, and I was like, why not post them! LOL.

Three of my favorite things, Flying, Eating & Sleeping!

Well there is me with my Captain America action figure, which as I remember was my favorite super hero at the time. Go Figure! I think he kinda sucks now. Then there is me next to me next to my worst nightmare, the electronic characters at CHUCK-E CHEESE! You won't see me go nowhere near them now! Evil with there Evil electronic sounds and such! But I did love playing the games there though!

I have other photos, but I don't want to overload you, maybe another time! Until next time! Tell me what u think of the photos!

Recess isn't Fun!

I don't like Recessions. It just isn't a good feeling at all. The reason why I haven't blogged in awhile is because every time I want to write it is about two things. My new found "love" or my new found "debt"!

It's not that I don't want to write about "him," I guess I just want this moment to ourselves for awhile. Ya can understand that right? There isn't much else going on in my life, besides avoiding bills and trying to make more money.

Christmas was good, which is just a reminder of how much I spent. New Years wasn't bad. I have to wait for Twin to give me the photos so I can post that. I haven't been doing any creative side projects. Even though I did start work on my online art portfolio.

Everyone is fine, Family fine, Friends Fine, Dog Fine. Is my life boring! Gosh I can't take it! I think Im going to have to find something to TALK about QUICK!

Don't worry the School Bell has Rung, and CLASS WILL BE BACK IN SESSION!

Omar Ramon Performs Ordinary People

Here is a video of my Best Friend, Omar Ramon, latest performance, check it out! I tried to do my best as Camera Man. The club was pretty dark, but hey, I tried! Check out the Ultra Silver Sneakers he has on, hot! I'm so proud of him! Super Star!

Hotel {Lounge} Party

My Friend just sent over these photos I took awhile back, so decided to post them, YEAH!
